Tbilisi

Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia. It is a small European country between Asia and Europe, east of Black Sea, and south of Russia, near Turkey. Visa is open for tourists, you'll get it upon arrival and costs approximately Dhs.100 ($30)

Georgians are friendly and helpful. They have grey-brown eyes and black curly hair
(their alphabet is curly too hehe).
One of their main product is wine, oh they make the best wine ever.
Their land grow so many types of grapes.

Georgian homes and buildings have balconies and terrace up front.
(our tour guide said, its because they like to greet and talk to their neighbors)
Tbilisi have old palace buildings like this, so romantic.

The Tbilisi Historic District- preserved by Unesco World Heritage

Mt'k'var River: a wide river runs in the center of the city....makes the place look very peaceful

These are churchkhela. It is food. Georgian sweets. They hang it everywhere for sale to the tourists. It is made from grape juice and  nuts and held by string in the middle like a candle.

There are old caves here near the river where the ancient people used to dwell.

At night, Tbilisi is very alive with the palace full of lights on top of the hill....i felt like Cinderella is dancing up there. Many tourists around the restaurants and bars, full of mixed nationalities mostly Russians.
Local favorite foods: khachapuri (tastes like cheesy pizza)
and khinkali (tastes like big yummy dumplings)

By the river at night, it is cold in October...

such a beautiful city....Tbilisi

The "Bridge of Peace" is one of the top most beautiful pedestrian bridges. It is made of glass and iron designed like a web and has spectacular dancing light at night. The architect is Italian. It is named the bridge of peace by their President maybe because it connects the old town to the new town across the river.
Sameba (Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi): Third biggest Orhodox church in the world. It is huge.

This is the Spring of St. Nino. She is the woman who started Christianity in Georgia. Legend says St. Nino found a spring that have healing power so we also walked 3 kilometer to reach the spring and drink from its miraculous water...Some of our friends took bath too hehe.
Colorful souvenirs from Sighnaghi, bags, wallets, socks & slippers, made from sheep's wool
Last dinner with cultural folk show.
Georgian's song and dance feels like a mixture of arab-western style.

the food is awesome!!!

The "Cat Lady" in Rustaveli Avenue...she loves cats so all Tbilisi street cats live with her here...look a black kitten is on top of her head!
